My Commitments
To You

I'm not running to make speeches. I'm running to get things done.

My campaign is built on four simple values. Below, you will see exactly how I will turn those values into action for District 4. These are not just ideas. They are my commitments to you.

1. People First. Always.

The Promise: No special interests. No "good ole boys." Just our neighbors.

What I Will Do:

  • Strict Conflict of Interest Rule: I will vote against any zoning change or contract where I, my family, or my business has a financial stake. I will publicly disclose all my assets every year.

  • Resident-First Zoning: Before approving any new development, I will require proof that it benefits current residents (e.g., adding affordable housing units or fixing local roads) rather than just increasing developer profits.

  • Protect the Vulnerable: I will fight to ensure that no family is displaced by development without a guaranteed "Right to Return" to the new housing.

When the choice is between a developer's profit and a family's home, I will always choose the family."

2. Hands-on Commitment

The Promise: I won't just sit in an office. I will be in the trenches with you.

What I Will Do:

  • Monthly "Boots on the Ground" Days: I will spend one day every month doing direct service in District 4—visiting shelters, checking on tenants, or helping with community cleanups—and I will report back to you on what I saw.

  • Rapid Response Team: I will create a direct line for residents to report code violations (mold, trash, safety hazards). I promise to follow up on every report.

  • Open Door Hours: I will hold weekly office hours in Fort Oglethorpe and Ringgold where you can talk to me face-to-face, no appointment needed.

I've spent years helping neighbors directly. I won't stop now. I will be the Commissioner you can call.

3. Transparent & Accountable

The Promise: No secrets. No backroom deals. If I mess up, I own it.

What I Will Do:

  • Live Stream Everything: All commission meetings and committee hearings will be live-streamed and archived online for at least two years.

  • Monthly Accountability Reports: I will publish a simple, one-page report every month showing:

    • How I voted.

    • Where the tax money went.

    • Progress on our three big promises.

  • Independent Ethics Audit: I will hire a third-party auditor to review county contracts and zoning decisions once a year, with the results posted publicly.

  • The "Elephant" Pledge: I will never hide the truth, even when it is uncomfortable. If I see something wrong, I will speak up.

You deserve to know how your money is spent. Transparency isn't a favor; it's your right.

4. Safe & Healthy Neighbors

The Promise: Safety isn't just policing. It's food, shelter, healthcare, and dignity.

What I Will Do:

  • "Make Our Neighbors Fed Again": I will work to designate "food desert" areas in our county to unlock state grants for grocery stores and community gardens. I will also protect the county budget for emergency food pantries.

  • Tenant Protection Ordinance: I will draft a "Right to Repair" law. If a landlord ignores health hazards (like mold or no heat) for more than 14 days, tenants should have every right to force the repair or withhold rent safely.

  • Mental Health Crisis Team: I will partner with local hospitals to create a non-police response team for mental health emergencies, so trained medics, not armed officers, are the first to arrive.

  • Environmental Health Checks: I will push for regular testing of water and soil in vulnerable neighborhoods and publish the results publicly.

A safe community is one where everyone has a home, food, and healthcare. That is the baseline.

How I Will Measure Success

Promises are easy to make. Results are what matter.

Every month, I will update you on:

  • How many families we helped with housing.

  • How many code violations we fixed.

  • How much money we saved or redirected to neighbors.

If I don't deliver, you have the right to hold me accountable. That is the deal.

These are my promises. These are my plans. Now, I need your help to make them happen.
